wow, seriously!? I had pretty much forgotten that I still had a blogsite here.
I was just reminded that I indeed had one while reading a close friend of mine's poem today on her blog-site!
I'm gonna attempt to update this thing a bit more regularly, but I'm making no promises!
Anyway, it's Christmas Day, and Christmas this year was a bit different. In fact a Lot of big things in my life are very different lately. It's been an extreme challenge to adjust to all the sudden change, but I'd say overall, I'm doing okay. This is only the second year that my immediate family haven't been together for the Holidays. My parents finally got divorced a little over a year ago. I had honestly seen this coming for years (and at some times even hoped for it) but some of the feelings that have resulted from it have been messy, confusing, and painful. But, on a more cheery note, I had a pretty good day today and shared time with my mother and her boyfriend, and of course my dog, Stanley. We ate some delicious food, I made cupcakes, and I volunteered at Salvation Army for 2 hours today...
